Welcome to Lamma. By using this app or website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of the Service
Lamma is a group cultural party game designed for local play (on the same device). The app includes both free and paid (Premium) content. The app is available on iOS, Android, and on the web.
3. Account and Eligibility
Using the free app does not require creating an account. To purchase Premium via the web or to link your subscription across all your devices, you will be asked to sign in with your email address via the Clerk service. Sign-in is optional on iOS and Android.
You must be legally capable of entering into binding contracts in your country of residence. Minors require the consent of their legal guardian.
4. Premium Options and Pricing
Premium is available in two options:
- Monthly subscription – €4.99 / month (or the equivalent in your local currency): Automatically renews every month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Unlocks all paid categories for the duration of the subscription.
- Lifetime purchase – €12.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency): A one-time payment granting permanent access to the paid content available at the time of purchase and all future updates for the same account.
Prices shown include VAT where applicable.
5. Payment Processing
- On iOS (App Store): Payments are processed by Apple. Subject to Apple's terms and refund policy. App Store terms
- On Android (Google Play): Payments are processed by Google. Subject to Google Play terms. Google Play terms
- On the web: Payments are processed via Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), which acts as the Merchant of Record. We do not store your card details. Paddle policy
Subscription state is managed across all platforms via the RevenueCat service.
6. Automatic Renewal and Cancellation of the Monthly Subscription
The monthly subscription automatically renews at the current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. To cancel the subscription:
- iOS: Device Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Lamma → Cancel subscription.
- Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions → Lamma → Cancel.
- Web: Via your account dashboard or by contacting lamma@areesheh.com.
Premium remains active until the end of the paid period after cancellation. No partial refund is issued for the current period unless required by law.
7. Refund Policy and Waiver of the Right of Withdrawal
A. Purchases via App Store and Google Play
Refunds are subject to Apple's and Google's policies. We do not control these decisions directly. Please contact the relevant store support to request a refund.
B. Web Purchases (Paddle) — Waiver of the Right of Withdrawal (EU Withdrawal Right)
Pursuant to §356 BGB and Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers within the European Union generally have the right to withdraw from digital contracts within 14 days of conclusion.
By completing the purchase and clicking the "Buy Now" button or its equivalent, you expressly request the immediate commencement of the digital service and agree that you thereby waive your right of withdrawal as soon as access to the digital content is activated. This waiver is explicitly permitted under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU when both conditions are met: (1) performance begins with the consumer's consent, and (2) the consumer acknowledges the loss of the right of withdrawal.
This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of a defective service.
Refund requests for web purchases: If you experience a technical issue, a duplicate charge, or a defect in the service after a purchase via Paddle, you may request a refund by contacting us at lamma@areesheh.com within 14 days of the purchase date. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis in line with Paddle's policy as Merchant of Record.
C. Restoring Access (Restore)
If you purchased Premium and lost access on another device, you can restore it via the "Restore purchases" button in the app or by contacting lamma@areesheh.com, mentioning the email address linked to your account.
8. Intellectual Property
All contents of the app — questions, design, graphics, logos, and text — are protected by the intellectual property rights of Mohammad Areesheh. No part may be copied, distributed, or modified without prior written permission.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to hack or reverse-engineer the app.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
- Redistribute the app's content in any form.
- Impersonate another person or provide misleading information.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee that it is error-free or continuously available.
Pursuant to §521 BGB et seq., we are not liable for unintentional damages caused by slight negligence, except in cases of personal injury, death, or gross negligence. This limitation applies to the extent permitted by German law.
Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer in Germany or the European Union.
11. Changes to the App and Content
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or its content at any time. If the Premium service is fully discontinued, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance and consider appropriate compensation options.
12. Amendments to the Terms
We may amend these terms at any time. Updates will be published on this page with the date updated at the top. For material changes affecting consumer rights, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. Your continued use after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of them.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by German law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules (IPR). For consumers residing in the European Union, any more favorable consumer-protection rights in their country of residence apply.
Online Dispute Resolution: The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings and do not currently do so voluntarily.

To comply with the App Store Guidelines (Guideline 3.1.2), we disclose the following:
